Ale Yarok was one of the tiny movements trying to get a seat
in the Knesset and failed. Ale Yarok (meaning Green Leaf)
had a flag in which the party logo (a cannabis leaf) replaced the
Magen David on the national flag. It was on one side of
the flag only which means that they just cover the Magen
David with a sticker).

Full name in 2003 elections: Ale Yarok (Green Leaf)
Letters: Kuf-Nun
Flag/logo: the previous flag (Marijuana leaf on national
background) wasn't seen this time.
Remarks: pro-Marijuana legelizing, now also expend its platform
to became a civil rights movement.

Third
run for this ultra-liberal party after the failure in 2000 and
2003 elections. Still led by Boaz Wechtel and still use the kuf-nun
letters (first two letters of the word Cannabis). Ale Yarok
(Green Leaf) is supporting the legalization of light drugs,
gambling and prostitution. It also presents liberal economical
ideas and left wing views: Web site at <zope.ale-yarok.org.il>.
The party logo is still the marijuana leaf, but the flag that it
presented in 2000 elections is not used anymore.
More then 40,000 voters give their vote to this party, but it
wasn't enough to get a seat.
